Parents,
I just wanted to thank you so much for everything you have done to get your children ready for school (sending supplies, being on time, being great parents). We are still learning the rules and procedures of the class, but hopefully we are all learning and having fun!
Just to update you on the things we are learning this week:
Briefly introducing letters A-J and introducing the word "I" (maybe you saw their orange I with I messages?)
Introducing numbers 1-5, writing them, counting them, using them, etc.
We have learned several new songs such as Monday Marching, Mother Gooney Bird and Slipper Fish!

My little guy, Max, has been loving his first week with you. I just wanted to comment on the songs -- they're so much fun (I've been hearing him singing them to himself all week). He introduced me to the Mother Gooney Bird one today on the way home from school. Thanks for all you do!
